Department Of Industrial Property

The Department of Industrial Property under the direct management and direction of the General Department of Industry has the following functions and duties:

Develop and implement policies, strategies, directions and plans to strengthen the protection of industrial property rights in the Kingdom of Cambodia Collaborate on policy development and innovation within the framework of technology development Prepare legal documents, procedures and regulations related to the issuance of patents, patents, certificates of useful models, plant breeders’ rights and registration of industrial drawings, drawings of compact circuits Implement procedures for the issuance and management of patents, certificates, beneficial models, crop breeder rights, and for the registration and management of industrial drawings and illustrations of compact circuits in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Implement mechanisms to stimulate innovation and innovation Disseminate through official newsletters or by other means for patents, patents, certificates, useful models, breeders’ rights, crops, industrial drawings and illustrations of compact circuits. Management of Innovation Centers, Innovation Centers, Industrial Property Research and Review Centers, Industrial Property Training Centers Organize human resource development and training of industrial ownership skills Disseminate and use information on industrial ownership as a tool to promote innovation, innovation, research for the purpose of developing science and technology in the Kingdom of Cambodia Implement the procedure for registering a business agent as a representative of the applicant in the registration of industrial ownership Mediation and settlement of disputes related to industrial ownership Coordinate and cooperate with national and international organizations, including cooperation with development partners on industrial property Summarize the report on performance evaluation and development of industrial ownership sector And perform other duties assigned by the Director General and / or the Minister.
