National Committee for Intellectual Property (NCIPR) was established by the Sub-decree No.142 ANKR.BK dated 18 August 2008 on the Establishment of the National Committee for Intellectual Property Rights.
Objective
The establishment of this Committee has an objective to stimulate and assure single national policy on intellectual property, and enhance a smooth cooperation between concerned ministries and institutions in preparing, disseminating, and enforcing laws and regulations of intellectual property rights, to comply with the commitments of the Kingdom of Cambodia during the accession to WTO, and receiving and utilizing effectively technical assistance related to intellectual property rights field from international organizations and other countries.stimulate and assure single national policy on intellectual property, and enhance a smooth cooperation between concerned ministries and institutions in preparing, disseminating, and enforcing laws and regulations of intellectual property rights, to comply with the commitments of the Kingdom of Cambodia during the accession to WTO, and receiving and utilizing effectively technical assistance related to intellectual property rights field from international organizations and other countries.
